The modernist building from 1913 has a colorful history. Before the war, the Warsaw intelligentsia lived here, including several eminent and respected people: composer Karol Szymanowski, conductor Kazimierz Wiłkomirski and Olympic champion 1932 Janusz Kusociński. During World War II, the building did not suffer any major damage. In 2015, the tenement house was entered into the register of monuments.
